Policy status
This policy describes how Wraxle LLC measures TranscriptLayer during the beta. It does not amend the disclaimer or liability terms, and it does not promise a particular level of service to a customer.
99.5% monthly target
The non-contractual target is 99.5% availability during each UTC calendar month for the API, authentication, and cached caption delivery.
What the target includes
- Public API health.
- Customer authentication.
- Delivery of a caption artifact already available in the service cache.
What the target excludes
- Uncached source extraction and its processing time.
- Whether a source or caption track exists, remains public, or is accurate.
- Webhook delivery timing.
- Source-platform behavior and restrictions.
- Customer-caused errors, cancellations, or policy violations.
Measurement and reporting
Independent probes measure health, authentication, and cached delivery in one-minute evidence buckets. A required failed observation makes that minute unavailable. A missing required observation makes the monthly result unknown rather than counting as a pass. Results are published on thestatus page.
Maintenance
We may exclude no more than four hours of planned maintenance in one month, and only when announced at least 24 hours before it starts. Emergency legal, security, or abuse work may occur without advance notice and remains visible through status and incident reporting.
No automatic compensation
Missing the target does not create a cash refund, subscription refund, or additional credit grant. Failed or cancelled transcript work still consumes zero credits under the billing policy. Any future contractual SLA or compensation program requires a separate written agreement.
