Scope

This policy applies to the hosted TranscriptLayer service, accounts, API, dashboard, webhooks, and credits. It does not add restrictions to client libraries distributed under the Apache License 2.0.

Allowed use

You may use TranscriptLayer for lawful requests and may use lawful transcript results in your own commercial products. You must have the legal right or permission needed to process each source.

Source access

Request only publicly accessible or otherwise authorized content. Do not request private, account-only, paywalled, age-restricted, or access-controlled material. Do not provide source-platform cookies, login credentials, access tokens, private links, or other authentication material. Do not use TranscriptLayer to bypass access controls, geographic restrictions, or platform security.

Rights and personal safety

Do not infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other third-party rights. Do not use the service for harassment, stalking, surveillance, doxxing, fraud, impersonation, spam, malware, exploitation, illegal sexual content, or violent extremist activity.

System abuse

Do not attack, disrupt, or probe TranscriptLayer without written permission. Do not evade rate, concurrency, credit, or spending limits; create accounts to bypass enforcement; manipulate billing; or send abusive automated traffic.

Accounts, keys, and credits

Do not sell, transfer, share, or publicly expose an account, API key, webhook secret, or credit balance.

Webhook destinations

You must control or have permission to use every webhook destination. Do not target internal networks, cloud metadata services, third-party systems without permission, or any destination used to make an unauthorized request.

Sensitive information

Do not put passwords, API keys, webhook secrets, payment-card details, government identifiers, health records, or other sensitive personal information in URLs, webhook configuration, request metadata, or support messages.

Enforcement

Wraxle LLC may block a request, limit service, suspend an account, preserve relevant evidence, or close an account to stop abuse, protect the service, comply with law, or enforce this policy. Serious or ongoing abuse may lead to immediate closure. We may report conduct when legally required.
